Holmes’ artistic journey steadily developed over 40 years in Western Australia with her works featuring in numerous solo and group exhibitions and being held in many corporate and private collections.
Having recently translocated to the western slopes of the Snowy Mountains, Wendy collects her research from the wilder landscapes of the Snowy and Blue Mountains and continues to explore the dramatic and subtle influence of time and climate in molding and shaping geological bedrock, the essential presence of water and the thin skin of the visible vegetation.
