    This is the flagship business of the Gallery owners. Conveniently located right next door The Cotton Merchants is where you can find an excellent range of fabrics, notions, haberdashery and threads. This boutique store has incredible quality tools sourced from around the world. A variety of wares including lampshades, quilts and wall hangings complement the gorgeous curated fabric ranges on offer.

    The Coffee Pedaler

    Located opposite the Gallery, The Coffee Pedaler is a multi-award-winning cafe that has become a celebrated destination for locals and visitors alike. With a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere, it's the perfect spot to refuel and relax while exploring the stunning Snowy Valleys. Grab a coffee and peruse the Gallery!

    The Local Pizzeria gets our vote for the nicest hosts in Tumut! Graham & Carol are absolutely delightful and have a fantastic crew. Just two doors up from the Gallery you can dine in or takeaway for pizza, pasta, gelato, coffee and cake.

    Historic Tumut Town Bridge

    Only a short walk from the Gallery, the Tumut Town Bridge is a historic crossing over the Tumut River, built in the late 19th century to connect the town with nearby farming districts. Known for its distinctive timber and iron design, it remains a valued local landmark, admired for its heritage charm, riverside setting, and presence in local artworks.

    Start your Sculptural Trail journey at the Gallery with the ‘Sound of Sky’ sculpture located only a few steps away! A permanent sculpture collection created by the team behind Sculpture by the Sea at Bondi and Cottesloe; the 150km Snowy Valleys Sculpture Trail meanders from along the picturesque Snowy Valleys Way from Tumut to Khancoban, offering another reason to visit and discover this stunning region of NSW.

    Dog on the Tuckerbox

    Gundagai’s iconic monument is undergoing an incredible makeover! The kiosk and farm shop has been given a fresh new look. Serving amazing gelato and coffee together with local produce and great gifts including Fine Art Prints and postcards featuring Gallery co-owner Rechelle’s collage artwork. A fantastic pitstop before you get off the highway to Tumut. So dig up some food, sniff out a treat and get off the leash!

    Tumut Broom Factory

    The Tumut Broom Factory is the last original Millet Broom Factory in Australia. Handmade millet brooms have been made at the factory the same way since 1946, and can be found Australia wide. You are invited to drop in to the Factory and experience the magic of the broom making tradition. Visitors to the factory will be able to view the broom manufacturing process first hand and purchase their own millet broom at the end.

    Nimbo Fork Lodge

    Nestled in the Snowy Valleys, on the fork of the Tumut River and Nimbo Creek, sits Nimbo Fork Lodge, occupying one of the most beautiful regional destinations in New South Wales.     Nestled in the foothills of the Snowy Mountains in NSW, Batlow is the little town with a big reputation for Australia’s best apples, grown here for more than a century. Batlow also has a reputation as a town with big fighting spirit after the bushfires of 2020 ripped through the region.

    A proudly independent Aussie Craft Brewery that has quickly grown into a local favourite, loved by the community, adventurers, and beer lovers alike. Serving up great pizzas, Mexican fair and awesome live music. The beers are as crisp and refreshing as the Tumut River itself!

    Adelong Falls & Gold Mill Ruins

    The Adelong Falls Gold Mill Ruins is a state listed heritage industrial site. Situated 1.5 kilometres from Adelong, and just over 20 kilometres from Tumut,. The interpretive area, providing a comprehensive history of the site, and viewing platform are wheelchair accessible from the lower car park. A nimble walk of about an hour leads down from the platform to Adelong Creek and the ruins. There are signposts along the route describing the various items relating to the site. A popular swimming hole during the warmer months and a great spot for walking and picnics.

    Yarrangobilly Thermal Pool & Caves

    Located between Tumut and Cooma, the Yarrangobilly area is a highlight of northern Kosciuszko National Park. Explore jaw-dropping caves on a guided tour and swim in the thermal pool. Stay at historic Caves House and enjoy the walks and wildlife.
