Harry Sanbrook
A young emerging artist from Tumut, Harry works primarily in coloured pencil and graphite. He also experiments with pastels, oils and acrylic. His style leans toward realism while weaving in modern and abstract touches as well.
Whilst Harry does portraits of people and animals, his subject matter is mainly Australian birds. He is fascinated by their personalities and the way they bring the landscape to life. It’s great seeing people connect their own experience of our wildlife when viewing my artworks.
In the future, I’m excited to dive into bigger projects like murals and large-scale pieces, experimenting in more mediums and subject matters and enter more art prizes. I’m looking forward to further developing my skills and grow as an artist
