Hannah Beale
Hannah Beale is an Australian artist currently living in Denmark. Hannah originally comes from Adelong in the Snowy Mountains region, where she still lives when she is in Australia. Hannah creates a wide range of artworks, from printmaking to painting and drawing. Her works explore themes of the flora and fauna of where she grew up and of her mother’s garden.
Hannah likes to take a whimsical and cluttered approach to her work. She creates busy botanical works that depict things that you may find at the bottom of a garden. Her works are inspired by her childhood, and she hopes that her works express a childlike wonder and exploration. Her main focus when she is in Australia is copper hardground etchings with aquatint. While in Denmark, her practice is focused more on botanical painting.
Hannah graduated from the National Art School with a Bachelor of Fine Art majoring in printmaking in 2024. She has exhibited in art shows including the 2024 National Art School Grad Show and 2026 Tumut Art Show, where she won first in her section and the Hangers award. She has recently completed two murals in Denmark and has works in private homes.
